WeMo Nest Mobile This app is free for IOS and now also Android. This is probably one of the hottest home apps to currently hit the market. Using your mobile device you can adjust temperature of any room in your house. The thermostat is super easy to install and begins to ‘learn’ your temperature preferences in just a few days. It even shows you how you can save money on energy.
Lockitron How great would it be to lock and unlock any door in your house from wherever you are. Well now you can. This awesome app lets you remotely unlock doors while your away from home. You can lock or unlock the doors while at work or even just from home. Best of all, no need for duplicate keys!
My Fios This app is definitely one of my favorites. Fios now lets you check TV listings then program or record any DVR in your house. You’ll literally never miss a show again. You can even check your home phone’s voicemail right from your smart phone.
LG Smart Refrigerator This app is also free and available on both IOS and Android. You can monitor the contents of your refrigerator while away from home; then put together a grocery list based on what’s left (after the fridge has been ravaged by husband and kids while at work!) What’s really cool is this app lets you look up recipes based on items you already have in your fridge. You can’t get much more awesome than that!
