For today's post I want to talk about two my favorite things: coffee and crafting. I recently attended a demo at Walmart for McCafé at home. They were giving away free coffee samples and it turns out the coffee is now available bagged and in single serve pods. How awesome is that!? I can make my all time favorite coffee at home in about 30 seconds. Anything that can make my morning routine run a little bit more efficiently is fine with me. I'm definitely lovin' it!
So as I was headed down the isles in search of my new favorite coffee pods a craft popped into my head. I usually make my coffee at home and take it to work. I buy those recyclable paper coffee cups-but they get sooo hot! and it seems like they never come with the heat protector sleeves. Well I thought "Why not make my own?"
You are gonna love this. You can stamp, embellish or write anything on these handmade coffee sleeves. Plus you can make them out of a variety of materials from fabric to corrugated cardstock or even cork. Keep reading and I'll show you exactly what you'll need to make them.

YOU'LL NEED:
- Corrugated cardstock sheets or rolls (available at Michaels)
- Template, provided
- Stamps, ink, paint and gel pen
- Binder clips or clothespins
Print out the template provided.
Left click image to pop out of window. Right click and choose "Save Image As."
Place the template over the material being used and cut out. At this point you'll want to stamp or print your sentiments. It's much harder once the sleeve is finished since it has a curve to it.
Follow the template instructions securing with binder clips until the glue is dry.
I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy craft.
